I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT - After 10+ years

My sister laughed because she thought it would never happen in bazillion years, but I am sad to say that after 10 years of being a wolverine fan, I can no longer support the U of M ball club. After having a very intelligent conversation with two people I work with ; Scott S. and Jason D. I have decided that there is no room in my life for MI.
Why you ask? Because I cannot support one of the most liberal schools in the country in one of the most liberal city's in the country. Sad, but true. All the people I work with who are MI fans are either wolverine wanabees that went to Eastern or they really went to MI and are just plain pricks, and have nothing positive to say about our wonderful president - George Dubya Bush, who I wholeheartedly support.
I am burning all of my MI GEAR in a bonfire behind my house tonight. I hope the Spartans beat their liberal asses to a pulp tomorrow.
GO CORNERSTONE UNIVERSITY!!!!
PS - and Green Day, your lucky I wasn't at your concert/LIBERAL Pep Rally here in Auburn Hills a few weeks ago, cuz I would have made 9/11 look like sparkler. I thought you were paid (50$ a ticket) to play music not endorse a political party. Of course your new album is called "AMERICAN IDIOT" because only idiots would pay for that shiot!

Wow Jason, you certainly did change your mind quickly! Perhaps these folks at your work were spewing conservative propaganda your way...perhaps they are bitter because they didn't get to go to MI...whatever the reason...Seems to me that everyone that is against UM is perhaps jealous? Yes, some of the students at UM are a bit on the snotty side. I went to UM for one year as an undergrad and was going for masters before we moved. It IS a GREAT school. Unlike State (which I am sure is why all the spartans are up in arms ), UM is considered to be one of the top ten universities in the country. UM is teaching the leaders of tomorrow. Ann Arbor (recently voted the #6 city in the country to raise a family) was an EXCELLENT city to live in. Greg and I lived there for years and we enjoyed raising Ava there. As we now live in BOSTON, I can tell you that Ann Arbor is not an extreme liberal city...rather it is a city primarily filled with those with a desire to learn and a passion for the arts.

I am disappointed to see these comments on your blog.

Suzie, hey mamacita thanks for visiting. I am very blunt. I don't debate I liberal hate. I am not known for sugar coating anything, I would be what most peeps call a GRUFF individual.

A-1-Nicole-A - the peeps from work have little to be jelous about - they are TRU PLAYAZ. They are "NOW" leaders in america. They don't spew propaganda. Actually they basically just said that they were surprised a KNOWN conservative like myself would support MI. I just got to thinking about it and realized I wasn't being true to myself. I would never live in A squared, I don't like A squared and I would never let my child grow up in a city full of commies. PS - remember that you are talking to me. This blog is my blog and I will say whatever I want. IT'S ALL FOR ME.

Hmm. I don't know anything about MI's political agenda. But if that is true, I applaud you for your stand. I have known you for so many years and never realized you were such a conservative. It makes me even more proud that I know you!

Just speaking like a Mom, advising sweetly on the HATE thing...dislike - if even though we all are not fond of those far lefties for sure.

Commies LoL! Though, I have to agree with Nicole that the academics at UofM are far superior to MSU.

Be that as it may, I like your decision and the reasons behind it. Do you apply the same thought process to the products you buy as well?

I think people tend to forget that some companies have extreme lobbying power in Washington and all it takes is some like minded consumers to stop buying their products.

ohhhhh I have one, most mainstream rap artists are liberal, SO STOP BUYING THAT CRAP JASON! Been trying to find a way to get you to make that decision, maybe this is the key.

Lord knows Brothat Lynch and the gang are not conservative.

Oh, and I highly doubt Brotha Lynch would be considered Mainstream. And I did some research on Brotha Lynch AKA Kevin Miller. I think he has seen the light! In a good way that is, just like me. So be happy for a Brotha Yo!

Just wanted to let you know I posted this on my blog after your comment.I really did like "Mama Said Knock You Out" and Vanilla Ice. I did enjoy him when he had a part in one of the Ninja Turtle movies. (Do you remember that one?) M.C. Hammer was pretty good to begin with. Pretty soon though the rap turned into what I called garbage. I hated Sir Mixalot with a passion.
I would really have to think about a video tho. Later Dude

Oh Yeah, they paid Vanilla Ice Millions of Dollars to perform a song with a small part in the Sequel to Tennage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. He was one cool cat when I was young baby. Good memory their G-MA!
